We went to Mt. Rushmore last weekend with our son, Jared's family. It was really nice and actually relaxing even with 6 children 6 and under. The roads were good, the weather was great.
I had been here before but when I was little, like 3 years old. I don't remember it at all like I remember the Royal Gorge. I think the Gorge must have terrified me.
Our weekend was lovely. Robert and I want to go back and ride our motorcycle there. The roads are great! Plus there is more history to see.
